I started an emergency meals bin years ago. I keep this in my pantry, and it’s filled with non-perishable items we can use to make easy meals in a semi-urgent situation-like a power loss-as long as we have a heat source (like our gas stove or grill). Some of you have mentioned these are also great for traveling or camping, or for sending to a friend or with a college kid with limited kitchen access, etc. It was time to restock it for reasons I mention in this video, so I took you along with me to show you what I stock in my emergency meals bin, and how I store everything. I hope this gives some ideas!
