Stop throwing stuff away! In this video, I avoided spending money at the grocery store by shopping my fridge, freezer, and pantry for a delicious crockpot dinner! Plus, I did a little tidy up and declutter so we could keep re-using items in our home that are still functioning for our family, even if they aren’t picture-perfect!

The 2020 video I used as a reference: https://youtu.be/qK8YTnxAPNo?si=YmUGPJWWL9DLXu86
I came across a video I made in October of 2020 comparing prices of common grocery items we purchase between Walmart and Aldi. Back then, Aldi beat Walmart by about 12% on the 10 grocery items I compared. I’m going into Walmart and Aldi again to check the prices on those same items here in the spring of 2026 to see how much (or even IF) they have risen, and whether Aldi is still the better deal for groceries over Walmart!

About Me//
If you’re looking for extraordinary, you’ve come to the wrong place. I’m just a regular ole’ gal in the middle of America, follower of Christ, wife to Daniel, and mom to three delightful children: Ruthie, McKenna, and Brick. In 2018, Daniel and I packed up our family and moved across the state to Tulsa. I decided to take a brief hiatus from my teaching career and start a YouTube channel as a new hobby and creative outlet. My “brief hiatus” became indefinite as the channel grew, and I knew where God was calling me: to make helpful content that is kind, positive, and realistic.
